Networked publics: a project by a team of thirteen scholars and their teacher, Kazys Varnelis, at the University of Southern California's Annenberg Center for Communication who explore how new and maturing networking technologies are reconfiguring how which we interact with content, media sources, other individuals and groups, and the world that surrounds us.
They put together a lecture series, recording most of these videos for anyone on the net to view, maintained a blog, and collaboratively wrote a book (from 2005 to 2006), "Networked Publics" online tools such as writely.
